There are maybe a handful of Thai restaurants in Las Vegas that have built a genuine local following โ and Nittaya’s Secret Kitchen in Summerlin has held that status for over a decade. Chef Nittaya Parawong cooks from secret family recipes out of Thailand, and the tapas-style format means happy hour is actually the smart way to eat here.
The happy hour at Nittaya’s Secret Kitchen runs Monday through Thursday, 3โ6PM in the bar area, with discounted pricing across a rotating cast of Thai small plates plus wine, beer, and cocktail specials.
Order This:
- Thai Wings โ $15: juicy, crisped-skin wings in a Thai BBQ sauce
- Bacon Wrapped Shrimp โ $14: four pieces, bacon triple-wrapped and crunchy, served with a sweet pineapple sauce
- Garlic Basil Lamb Chops โ $18 if you want to push it further
Nittaya’s sits at 8427 W. Lake Mead Blvd., well off the Strip and squarely in the neighborhood where Las Vegas locals actually live. That’s the point. This isn’t designed to impress tourists โ it’s a tight, intimate room where the chef is actually in the kitchen. Bar seating fills up, so a reservation or a call ahead is worth it. ๐
