East Las Vegas doesn’t have many happy hours that run twice a day. This one does, and it starts with half-price appetizers. ๐ฝ๏ธ
The happy hour at Applebee’s Nellis, at 500 N. Nellis Blvd on the east side, runs 3 to 6 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. to close. Dine-in guests get half-price appetizers and more, the same hours as the other Applebee’s locations around the valley.

Whatever appetizers are half price that day. Reviewers here praise the chicken wonton tacos and the chicken quesadilla. A few flag overcooked boneless wings, so order accordingly. Ask your server what’s on tonight’s list.
This is a neighborhood chain, and it plays that role well. It’s a booth and a bar on a busy east-side corridor, with no resort fee and easy parking. The 9 p.m. window is the one to remember. Plenty of valley dining stops serving deals long before then, so this is a solid fit for the post-shift crowd. Expect a familiar menu and a modest bill.
Happy hour is dine-in only, and Applebee’s doesn’t take reservations, so walk in. Show up around 9, grab a seat at the bar, and split a couple of apps.
