The Golden Tiki’s happy hour runs daily 4-7pm, and 1-4am with $6-9 tiki cocktails and $6 beer.
Order This: the alcoholic Dole Whip for $8 โ pineapple soft-serve spiked with real rum, not a syrup shortcut, and the drink regulars specifically wait for happy hour to order. Pair it with the Sticky Fingers, glazed fried chicken tenders that show up in review after review as the food people actually remember.
Branden Powers, former creative director at Hard Rock Hotel, built this 4,000-square-foot fever dream with four themed lounges โ the Pirates Lair, Mermaid Cove, Headhunter’s Village, and a 20-foot waterfall behind the bar โ and somehow the drinks are still legit rum-forward tiki cocktails, not sugar water in a coconut cup. That’s the trick: Chinatown doesn’t do the Strip markup, so a bar this theatrical can still pour a real mai tai for $8 during happy hour instead of the $18 version you’d pay a mile east.
Reservations are for two-hour blocks and recommended on weekends โ it gets loud and it gets full, and the tiki head does not care that you’re waiting.
