THE NEW HAPPIEST HOUR AT ECHO & RIG HENDERSON
What makes a great Happy Hour? Whatever your criteria, the brand new “Happiest Hour” at Echo & Rig’s Henderson location (within The District at Green Valley Ranch) almost certainly qualifies.
Great food? Check! Great cocktails? Check! Great prices? Honestly, from 3 to 6 p.m. every weekday, chef/owner Sam Marvin and his team are offering some of the best deals in town.
Old-Style Vegas
“We are so excited about our Happy Hour,” said Marvin, during a recent tasting of all the menu items. “We are doing cocktails like old-style Vegas. What I mean by that is, all of our cocktails are $5. I don’t know another Happy Hour in all of Vegas that’s doing a $5 cocktail. We’re doing five cocktails at $5, and we change it every week or two.”
For the debut Happiest Hour cocktail menu, Marvin assigned five of his bartenders their own base spirits and asked them to come up with something creative and delicious. They clearly embraced the assignment.
Take, for example, the Azaela Sour, a vodka-based concoction that incorporates honey syrup, pomegranate, grapefruit and lemon, or the mix of rum, pineapple, amaretto, lemon and simple syrup known playfully as the Rumspringa. The tequila-based Mango Tears features spicy mango syrup, ginger liqueur and amaro. Bourbon lovers can indulge in a Straw Dog, with strawberry puree and a touch of lemon. Or go with the Gintle Giant: gin, elderflower liqueur, cucumber puree and lemon.

Daily Happy Hour Food Deals
The beverages are clearly the star of the show here, with all five available every Monday through Friday. But Marvin is throwing in some culinary creations as well, to make sure you aren’t enjoying those on an empty stomach. “We’re adding food to the mix, and it’s crazy!” proclaims the chef.
The discounted menu offers a single food item each day, all reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to quality ingredients and creativity. And you’ll find the best deals earlier in the week, with prices increasing slightly as the weekend approaches.
Masa Monday: Drop by on Mondays and you’ll be able to get a pair of carne asada street tacos made with steakhouse-quality beef, for just $5. “So you can come in here, and you can grab food and two cocktails for $15,” Marvin notes proudly.
Cheesy Tuesday features a B.L.T.C. (bacon, arugula, heirloom tomato and white cheddar cheese) for $6.
Wing Wednesday is your chance to score a meaty quartet of sweet-and-spicy Hawaiian chicken wings for $7.
Juicy Lucy Thursday means a thick, hearty slider with an over-sized skirt of cheese crisp for $8.
Fish & Chips Fridays with two large pieces of fish, house-made potato chips, tartar sauce and sea salt vinegar for $9. “A $9 Fish and Chips?” The chef marvels at his own deal. “I mean, I say it modestly, but I put it up against any fish and chips in the city. We’re using super- high-quality fresh fish. Our beer batter, we make it. Nothing’s going into a fryer that didn’t come from us — all from scratch.”
Henderson Location Only
Separate Deals At the Tivoli location – Marvin is quick to remind people that this particular Happy Hour is limited to Echo & Rig’s Green Valley location. Because the Summerlin location already has a tremendously successful long running program of its own.
“The Tivoli Village location has its own Happy Hour, which we don’t want to change, because we have so many people that come in for it.”.
